Race Highlights

As expected, Ricky Carmichael dominated both motos at Southwick on his CRF 450 and earned his 99th AMA victory. The defending AMA 250 Motocross Champion is now the first rider to win the 250 MX National five times in Southwick. Yamaha's Chad Reed took the second spot, followed by Kevin Windham.

In the 125 class, Stewart also won his motos by large margins despite Southwick's unique sand track - the only racetrack of the circuit where he hadn't won yet. Former AMA champ Mike Brown was second overall with 3/2, and Nate Ramsey was third with 2/3. This was Nathan's first podium this season.

Next Event: June 20, 2004 at Budds Creek MX Park (Budds Creek, MD)
