Race Highlights

Carmichael kept his perfect season rolling by winning the final 250cc MX National at Kenworthy's Motocross Park, his 4th straight victory in Ohio. Yamaha's Chad Reed got the holeshot in moto 1 and lead the race for a few laps but still finished second overall. Kevin Windham finished third with moto finishes of 3/3.

Stewart - as dominating as usual - won both 125cc motos by huge margins. This was James' 23rd career AMA 125cc MX win. Second position went to Matt Walker with 3/3 finishes. Third overall went to Josh Grant, his second podium this season.

"It's sad that this is the last race on this track. I have lots of good memories racing here over the years." said Carmichael, from the podium, in front of 21000 fans. In 2005, the AMA will replace the event with a round in Colorado.

Next Event: August 1, 2004 at Washougal MX Park (Washougal, WA)
